About Me

A native of Los Angeles, Yvonne now calls the Hudson Valley of New York home. After attending art school, she put her art aside for her other love: theatre. She began her professional acting career with the North American Tour of Miss Saigon, understudying the demanding role of “Kim.” Yvonne continued to work steadily in regional theaters across the country and toured with the North American Tour of The 25th Annual Spelling Bee as “Marcy Park.” When she isn’t treading the boards or making art, Yvonne is busy raising her daughters with husband Jeremy.

“Same, as the title character, is nothing less than brilliant.  She literally gleams onstage and her voice is strong and vibrant.”

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee – Nat’l Tour

“Yvonne Same played the overachieving Marcy Park, who has a breakdown mid-show. Same was the only actor who actually looked like a child. A very talented individual, she got a chance to showcase in “I Speak Six Languages” where she twirled batons, karate chopped tables and played the piano, all while singing and dancing. I was impressed.”

Medea

Medea

“Yvonne Same’s Medea is a complex creature eloquently expressing her rage and appropriately conflicted by the dark ramifications of her murderous thoughts.”
